Matthew Tompkins, Ed.S.

Matt is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and completed his master's degree in counseling at Webster University in 2016. He followed that up with a specialist degree in counselor education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2018. 

Matt has spent much of his life in southeast Missouri and is proud to have served in the Missouri Army National Guard for 12 years. 

Matt has extensive experience working with adolescents, couples, trauma victims, military, and law enforcement. His advanced training includes Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, and Certified Tele-mental Health Provider. 

Aside from work, Matt values spending time with his wife and three kids. His interests include playing and recording music. He also enjoys camping and following his favorite sports teams.

Kaylee Foeste, MSW

Kaylee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who attended Southeast Missouri State University earning degrees in both Psychology and Business Administration in 2013. Kaylee then attended University of Missouri - St. Louis completing her Master of Social Work as a Behavioral Health Workforce Education Training scholar in 2018. 

Kaylee has worked with and welcomes a diverse group of clients from adolescence to older adulthood. Kaylee has experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, life transitions, substance abuse, trauma, and low self-esteem. Kaylee embraces a non-judgmental, welcoming atmosphere for all, LGBTQ+ ally. 

Kaylee utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Kaylee takes a client centered, solution focused approach. Kaylee believes every individual is unique, and therefore often require a combination of approaches and strategies that work best for the individual.

Kaylee enjoys helping her clients reach their goals and improve their wellbeing. When not at work, Kaylee enjoys being outdoors, family time, music, and cooking.

Sarah Landers, MSW

Sarah has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2019. Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at Southeast Missouri University in 2010 and her graduate studies at the University of MO-St. Louis in 2014, both in social work.

Sarah is an alumni of Jackson, MO and proud to serve her community. Although Sarah has worked in the mental health field since 2010, she has extensive experience with children, adolescents and young adults dealing with trauma, suicidal thoughts, depression, ADHD, and defiance.

Sarah is a Certified Adolescent and Child Trauma Professional. She also has extensive training in DBT. Sarah likes to use Solution Focused, DBT, CBT, and play therapy approaches to help her client reach their goals.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys being a mother to her two children and a loving wife. Her interests include endurance running, camping, and watching movies or reading books.

Amy Mitchell, EdS

Amy is a Licensed Counselor (LPC) in Missouri. She completed her master’s degree in mental health counseling at Southeast Missouri State University in 2021 and her specialist in counselor education in 2022. Her background is in family studies and social work. 

Amy was born and raised in Jackson, MO and feels passionately about giving back to her community through mental health advocacy and education. 

Amy enjoys working with individuals over the age of 18 and welcomes people of all backgrounds though she feels especially passionate about creating a safe space for LGBT+ individuals as well as the BIPOC in our community. She has worked with clients facing a variety of issues related to anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem, trauma, sexuality, gender, and race. She approaches counseling from an Adlerian and Person-Centered approach and incorporates aspects of attachment theory and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well.

In her free time Amy enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their cat. Her interests include spending time in nature, playing video games, and keeping up with all the latest Star Wars content.
